My name is Stefania Caracane, the Owner of Persnickety Pixie LLC. My business was born out of a recognized need for a level of cleaning above the currently accepted standard.
The Persnickety Pixies provide a superior cleaning service because we know how hectic life can get. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done, right? Our Pixies can take some of that burden off your plate, so you have more time to focus on what's really important!
Persnickety Pixie LLC is a proud supporter of the communities we serve, and we feel it's important to lend a helping hand whenever we can. Most recently, we are excited to be a partner in Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to offering free house cleaning services to cancer patients. The Story of Persnickety Pixie LLC
Persnickety Pixie LLC was born out of a passion for cleanliness and a desire to make a difference. The journey began with Stefania, the company’s owner, who was deeply inspired by her family — especially her mother, Marie, and her Aunt Shelley. These family members instilled in Stefania not only the importance of hard work but also the dedication to providing impeccable cleaning services. Early on, Stefania worked alongside Aunt Shelley, learning the trade and realizing her own passion for creating spaces that were not just clean but inviting and comfortable.
What started as an opportunity to work alongside her aunt grew into a full-fledged business as Stefania saw the potential for a cleaning service that went beyond just basic tidying. She wanted to create a company where attention to detail, quality, and education were at the forefront. That vision blossomed into Persnickety Pixie LLC, a business that didn’t just offer cleaning but a superior, personalized experience that emphasized perfection and care.
From the beginning, Stefania knew the importance of doing things the right way. She made the decision early on to ensure Persnickety Pixie LLC was insured and bonded, providing a sense of security and professionalism that many new cleaning companies overlook. This decision was a reflection of Stefania’s dedication to her clients' peace of mind, knowing their homes and businesses were in trustworthy hands.

Persnickety Pixie LLC is proud to support local initiatives like Stuff the Bus, Gram Lorraine Christmas Program, and the Turkey Trot in Little Falls, NY. Stefania also felt strongly about providing services for those who needed it most, offering free cleanings for cancer patients through Cleaning for a Reason. This level of community engagement became a defining characteristic of the business.
As Persnickety Pixie LLC grew, Stefania’s focus remained on education and training. She made sure every team member was certified in professional cleaning techniques, including COVID-19 & Cleaning for Infectious Disease Prevention, ensuring the highest standards were maintained in every job. Each member of the team was also background checked, adding an additional layer of trust for clients.
